... which rectified the sway of their caravan and potentially saved their lives. Shaken by the realisation of what could have happened had they not installed the Tuson system, Johan discusses why he chose to the product and what makes it such a life saver: 

“The caravan was at a 90 degree to my ute, and the caravan, the sway control kicking in – all I did is just lift my feet off the brakes and the caravan just stopped. Sway control pulled everything straight for me.

An experienced camper and caravan driver, Johan and his wife had previously embarked on over ninety camping trips and has twenty years of experience towing trailers and campers, from single axles to tandem and a variety of caravan types. All this experience teaches you how to tow safely. But it doesn’t matter how much towing experience you have, sway can be unexpected and caused by a variety of factors outside of the driver’s control with possibly deadly results, as Johan testifies here.
